1877 St. Louis General Strike
The paper should specify which strike/labor action is being investigated, where and when it happened and how its positioning in time and space provided the incident with situational context/background, who was involved (organizations and individuals who worked either side) why it is historically significant and how it was resolved. Additionally the paper should make clear what lessons people can take from the event going forward. It should include individuals involved in the labor movement but also historians, business leaders, managers, civil servants, people who vote and members of the working class generally.
