Term Project

Students can chose one or more of the following suggested topics: Career Planning Financial Statements Budgets Checking and SavingsAccounts Credit and ConsumerLoans Vehicle Purchasing Affordable Housing Investing in theStock Market Mutual Funds Real Estate Retirement Planning Estate Planning (I chose credit and consumer loans ) Students will prepare a report (using MS Word) and present their project in class (using MS PowerPoint) Length: Minimum four(4) pages, excluding cover page and sources. Format: MLA Notes: As I instructed in class, you are to choose a topic among the list given on the syllabus. You may write about one theme (i.e. real-estate/purchasing a home) or a comparative analysis (i.e. buying a home vs buying a condominium). Term paper has to be minimum 4 pages (not including cover page and sources). You will use MLA format. Presentation/PowerPoint: You will be presenting in class; hence you need 1-2 PowerPoint slides with key bullet points. Please forward the PowerPoint to me.
