Human services professionals are barred from releasing any client information to unauthorized personnel (Neukrug, 2017). Doing this aims to guarantee the right to privacy and confidentiality by all clients who receive services in the field. The rationale that I used to identify the standard is based on assessing what would happen if health information was released to unauthorized agents. By doing this, I easily identified the standard as the one relating to the privacy of health information. The conduct of their employees could lead to lawsuits that can, at times, lead to huge penalties and fines on the organization. As a result, hospitals need to always ensure that they provide enough training to their employees on the need to always abide by the guidelines that have been put in place by the NOHS. Part E In an instance where health records need to be released in a court of law, several legal issues would have to be considered. The first is whether such release could affect a patient and their plight. If it affects them in any way, the court could block such a release. The second is whether such a release favors the health of the patient. A court may order release without consent if the aim is to protect the health of the client.
