Literature Review Draft. Using annotated bibliography and literature review outline as a base, develop the draft of the literature review. The literature review is not a summary of a collection of research articles, but rather a cohesive essay that synthesizes the results of studies in a coherent and fluid essay. As you plan for the organization of the literature review, consider beginning with the introduction that establishes the context and then introducing the broadly related literature. Then move to that literature which is more similar, and conclude with the literature that is most similar and that is specifically aligned with your study. Includes only primary sources. Sources must be of a scholarly nature and come from peer reviewed journals. Your search of the literature may begin with broadly related literature and strategically narrow your search to obtain the most similar literature which focuses on your action research questions. Your literature sources will focus not only on the subject of your inquiry but also on pedagogical sources including those addressing transformational teaching and learning. You must include a minimum of 15 scholarly resources in your literature review.
