Tissues/pathways?   For the next 3 hours after that?  What is going on at 5 to 6 hours after that?  10 hours after the lunch and over night?   When you wake up at 6 AM the next morning until you eat again at 10AM?      2.  You decided to run a 10K (6.2 miles) race and you have not been training for it and it will take you about 2 hours.  Describe what is going to happen in your body in its fuel use during different times of the run as you run at a pace of 3 miles per hour.  Think of the nutrients, tissues, pathways, hormones, etc. that are going to be involved in the first 10 minutes, at one hour, and at 1:45 min into the race.
