This prevents different ideas and opinions from being seen and heard by the public which I believe limits progress, change, and important diverse dialogue as well as the division of power. I do not think it is good for U.S. politics to have two powerful parties dominating politics because it drowns out other great ideas that can come from other smaller parties. It also leaves the citizens forced to often choose between “the lesser of two evils” when they vote, rather than feeling like they can vote for the candidate who has what they believe are the best ideals.
