The research objectives of this project are:i) To compile a database containing experimental data of solubility of nine aqueousbiphasic systems based on ethyl lactate;ii) To select statistical criteria to be used for the selection of models;iii) To fit various empirical models to experimental data;iv) To analyse and compare the effectiveness of empirical models, allowing discussion ofthe advantages and disadvantages of each equation.MS Excel will be used as calculation tools.
