Boundary Issues in Therapy

This topic of this essay is boundaries in the therapeutic relationship.  Here is a proposed outline.  It does not need to be followed specifically but rather is meant to give you a clear idea of what I am looking for. Define boundaries Importance of boundaries in a therapeutic relationship Violation of boundaries- the cost:  e.g., loss of trust, decreased effectiveness of therapy, etc Countertransference as a major factor in violation of boundaries Power differential and how it can create issues in therapy if not monitored/attended to    with potential to ultimately lead to abuse of power      worst abuse- sexual improprieties Tie in ethic of “avoid harm” Circle back to foundational importance of strong professional boundaries This is not a Psyc 101 assignment.  It needs to have a higher level of sophistication.  I do not want to receive a paper with typos or poor sentence structure!  I am allowing plenty of time so that you don’t need to feel time pressured.  Thank you for your consideration.
