There are three parts to this assignment: (1) exploring companies that hire biomedical engineers, (2) exploring graduate or professional programs, and (3) obtaining career advice from someone working in the biomedical engineering field. Please make sure to start part 3 early because it may take some time to network. Part I: Biomedical Engineering Companies (10 pts) 1. Find two companies that hire biomedical engineers 2. For each company, a. List the company name and website address b. List the working locations c. Write a short description (a few sentences) of their business as it relates to BME d. List any engineering jobs/internships that are currently posted (Most company websites will have a page on careers or you can do a general search on a job site: Careerbuilder.com, glassdoor.com, indeed.com, LinkedIn.com) e.
