Please use Pubmed.gov to look for peer-reviewed journal articles pertaining to colon cancer and color-blindness. I’m interested to know if there is a relationship between a person being unable to see the color red and a late-stage diagnosis of colon cancer. One of the early warning signs of colon cancer that should prompt a person to go see a doctor is blood in their stool after using the toilet. If a person is unable to see the color red, they may miss this early warning sign. That person might not go see a doctor until cancer has spread and begins causing pain or there is some other indication of a problem.

After selecting your own resource (the UN, Brookings Institute, or another reputable site), choose two international issues, and discuss ways you would address them if you were a world leader.  Reference your sources (make sure it is clear which sources you used).  It’s a brainstorming session, you are not expected to solve the world’s problems.  300-400 words excluding references, APA format, and a minimum of 3 references. The Manchester United Soccer Tournament project team (refer to the Manchester United Soccer club case study in chapter 4 of the text) has identified the following potential risks to their project: Referees failing to show up at designated games Fighting between teams Pivotal error committed by a referee that determines the outcome of a game Abusive behavior along the sidelines by parents inadequate parking Not enough teams sign up for different age bracketsSerious injuryHow would you recommend that they respond (i.e., avoid, accept) to these risks and why? Identify one key concept that you learned in chapters covered through week 3 that you think is important for your professional career.  Write a 2 page paper on the concept you chose.  In your paper, cover these key points: Full describe the concept you identified from what you learned so far.  Be very detailed and pretend you are explaining the concept to someone who knows very little about it.  Be sure to include citations to sources from the library and textbook.  You will need to use APA format. Identify how you will apply the concept to the job you have or that you aspire to achieve.  Be very specific about the job role and tasksTell why you think knowledge of this concept is important. Reflect deeply when you write this paper as this a personal reflection and not just a research paper on the topic.   Think about how you will apply what you learned and your writing will be evaluated on the quality of your reflection on your chosen topic.   Describing how you will apply what you learned is a very important part of this assignment. 

Post an analysis of the dimensions of oppression and marginalization that might impact your future clients. Be specific in identifying the types of clients with whom you might work. In your analysis, explain how the concepts of multiculturalism, power, and privilege are relevant to social work practice.
