This job is mainly for making a new framework for life cycle assessment for Single Stream Recycling (SSR). There are academic papers that discussed this problem but they limited their study on a single material. The concept of SSR is to mix all accepted recyclables in one single container. Therefore, making an LCA framework for SSR is essential. What I want to see is a full document addressing all previous studies that did a life cycle assessment of material recovery in all recycling strategies. The recycling strategy includes single-stream recycling, dual-stream recycling, mixed waste recycling, and pre-sorted recycling. Then we propose the new framework for SSR.
