Additionally you will describe 2 or 3 leading theories that are currently driving the field as well as 2 or 3 of the technologies that have come into existence during the current time period in which we are living. As relevant to the time period, conclude this section by briefly identifying those technologies that have recently fallen out of popularity and reasons that this may be true. Conclude this section of the paper with two to three legends that have stood out through time or who have had the most significant impact on the field. Learners and Lessons In this final section of six to eight paragraphs you will discuss what has been learned through time about how technology can best be leveraged to support teaching and learning (2 paragraphs). Additionally, you will discuss the current issues and resulting struggles that modern-day educational technologists face (2 paragraphs). Focus significantly on what is meant by the digital divide, why this divide exists, and how it might best be addressed (3 to 4 paragraphs).

 Reading is a big part of college and one of those activities that heavily divides people. For this post, I want you to think about the reading that you do. That is traditionally thought of as novels, but there are tons of ways to read in today’s society from subbed animes to online articles to texts in group chats to online classes. What kinds of reading do you do the most? What do you enjoy the most? What do you enjoy the least? Think about why and feel free to share something that you really enjoy reading with the class.  

Throughout this course, all of the concepts that we discuss will be related to the concept of intentional teaching and how the theories and concepts that we learn about can contribute to intentional teaching.  After reading Chapter 1 of your text and the video, “Do you teach or do you educate?” respond to the following questions in your initial post. Discuss three (3) qualities that you feel are essential qualities of an intentional teacher. Why do you believe intentional teaching is important? Think back to the teachers in your own lifetime and discuss an intentional teacher that you have encountered.  What qualities did this teacher possess that stood out to you as qualities that are inherent to an intentional teacher?  If you cannot think of an intentional teacher in your past, discuss an unintentional teacher that you encountered and share what they could have done differently to be more intentional.
