After reading Wolff, reviewing the PP and watching the two videos for this week, think about the sort of principles of justice you would choose if you were under the veil of ignorance in the original position. (Here you may want to focus on a social/political issue that is close to home or that you are very passionate about.) In your post: (A) Explain one aspect of our society that you think would be changed by Rawls’s contractors; (B) Why would this aspect of society (as is) be rejected by the contractors, and how would it be improved (by Rawls’s standards)? For this paper I’ve chosen to focus on the improvement of BP’s ecological footprint. Due to the oil spill of 2010, BP has had a very negative public opinion.
