There are several vocational and educational programs which are designed to rehabilitate inmates. Some vocational programs are work assignments such as kitchen duty, maintenance work, and ground keeping. Some educational programs are Adults Basic Education (ABE) and General Educational Development (GED).  Describe both vocational and educational programs which are designed to rehabilitate inmates.  Do you think these are effective? Why, or why not? Do you think resources should continue to be used for these programs?

Most inmates return to the community at some point. It is in the best interest of the community that the ex-offender be able to re-establish himself and be a contributing member of society, however; how successful their reentry is and how long it lasts depends on a variety of factors. Using your text and at least one of the following sources, describe some of the risks and problems associated with offender reentry into the community. What is the definition of terrorism according to the views of different groups involved?

Define what is the First Amendment and how it applies to your perspective on censorship and so-called bad music. Can a society have both freedom of speech and censorship? According to the text, there are nearly 900,000 suicides in a year in the world. The truth of the matter is that this number is probably much higher due to underreported instances of intentional death. As a result of technology, a new trend in suicide is death due to “cyberbullying.” For this case study, use the Internet to identify, research, and explore a suicide as a result of cyberbullying, physical bullying, and/or body shaming that has occurred within the last three years. Write a 3- to 5-page paper in which you address the following thoroughly.
