[Solved] Islam Vs. Christianity
Compare the development of one specific Islamic and one specific Christian location between 6321000 C.E. When discussing each location, provide a more specific timeline, and consider adding examples of significant leaders, political and social structures, beliefs, and cultural products (stories, philosophies, theologies, artifacts, art, and architecture). Your comparison should identify similarities and differences in the two religious-based cultures, and also indicate the influences they share. Be careful not to compare the religions as a whole but instead focus on a range of cultural elements in your two specific locations because cultures may vary even within one religion depending on time and place. What insight about the historical development of these two cultures did you gain from the comparison? Step 1: Review the section of the Unit V Study Guide entitled, Be Careful When Making Historical Assumptions. Step 2: Choose two appropriate sources, not including the textbook. At least one source must come from the CSU Online Library. The Academic Search Ultimate and eBook Academic Collection databases in the CSU Online Library would be good places to start your search. Resources from outside of the library should be credible and peer-reviewed by historians and cannot include Wikipedia, Biography.com, History.com, or any other .com site; resources should also not be taken from any type of message board or other encyclopedia-type sites, including those listed in the CSU Online Library research guides, which are provided for quick reference only and not for paper research. If you need additional help with using or locating information in the CSU Online Library, there are library video tutorials available on the main page of the online library under the heading Research Guides. Step 3: Complete your research. Choose one interesting comparison that illustrates the main point that you want to make about these cultures during this period. Gather details about your choice. Compare similar features (known as comparing like terms). For example, compare cities to cities, education systems to education systems, technologies to technologies, stories to stories, ideas about the nature of God to ideas about the nature of God, and other features. Make sure you complete the comparison for all features or note why you think there is not a like term for some features. The comparison includes consideration of both similarities and differences. Here are some examples to consider: the promotion and use of learning by leading figures; the relationship between religious and political authority; the shaping of artifacts (leader, idea, practice, or structure) by time period and environment; the shaping of societies by artifacts and whether different people were affected differently; and the way that different elements of culture reflect power arrangements, goals, hierarchies, and/or challenges. Step 4: Prepare your introduction, including your thesis statement. A thesis is prepared after you have completed your research and includes a comparison of what you found. It should be a one- or two-sentence statement of the conclusions you drew from the comparison. Step 5: Write your essay. Your essay must be at least 500 words in length. Step 6: Reflect on how this comparison paper shaped your understanding of how to practice cultural history ethically, as discussed in the Be Careful When Making Historical Assumptions section of the Unit V Lesson. Write one paragraph to be placed after the concluding paragraph of your essay, reflecting on how the guidelines in the unit lesson shaped your understanding of how to use historical evidence, including artifacts, to practice cultural history ethically.
[Solved] The Life of Olaudah Equiano
This assignment is based on the reading “The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano.” You must have read the whole thing and comprehended it. You then had to respond to two questions in depth. I will attach the reading as a PDF here. For this assignment further, you must reply to student response to both of the questions. I will paste the student response below. Upon responding, in the paragraph reply, YOU MUST INCORPORATE AT LEAST two of the following in your reply: 1. Expands or clarifies a point made in your classmates response 2. Offers an additional argument/provides evidence to support a position taken 3. Provides an informed counterview (with textual support) on a point where your analysis of the text may differ from your classmates 4. Provides detailed informed/constructive suggestions Start with something like “I agree!..” Here is the student response to both questions Equiano associates his homeland in Africa with the mannerisms, customs, and language he grew up within his neighbourhood which he first compares the Europeans to upon his encounter with them. He states, I was very much struck with this difference, especially when I came among a people who did not circumcise fought with their fists among themselves. Their women were not so modest as ours, for they ate, and drank, and slept with their men. But above all, I was amazed to see no sacrifices or offerings among them (4). In this experience, he is comparing the way Europeans function in their society which is odd to him. These ways allude to religion, like no sacrifices or offerings along with circumcision which is often in religious instances. He also talks about the nature of the people themselves, they are violent in fighting with their fists and women arent as modest. Equiano shows how the specific values in his homeland such as people being more civil and women being modest, along with their religious beliefs, were important. These questions that Equiano concludes at the end of his chapter are rhetorical as he emphasizes the hypocrisy that exists in the use of slavery. He begins asking, Learned you this from your God, who says unto you, Do unto all men as you would men should do unto you? (12). He speaks on how religious is usually claimed to be the reason oppressors are able to dominate over these slaves, Equiano is using the words they preach and states that their actions dont align. He goes on to ask the questions, Are the dearest friends and relations, now rendered more dear by their separation from their kindred, still to be parted from each other mingling their sufferings and sorrows? Why are parents to lose their children, brothers their sisters, or husbands their wives? (12). They can be interpreted as him arguing that families shouldnt be separated and how twisted it is to take advantage of these slaves when they are most vulnerable in this helpless state. Through suffering and sorrow, they will be willing to do anything, and he understands this deeply through the sibling relationship he had with his own sister. 248351 a few seconds ago. The first paragraph you see answers this question – #1: What specific values does Equiano associate with his homeland in Africa? How are these values contrasted during his encounters with the Europeans? For example, consider his life in Africa in contrast to his experiences/witnessing events on the slave ship and/or the slave market in Barbados. The second paragraph answers this question — #2: Equiano concludes his chapter with appeals to his audience in the form of rhetorical questions. Discuss how these questions work with the narrative to establish an argument against slavery.

Below are the instructions for the Review Paper given By the Professor: Environmental Literature Review Paper: What is it? A review article is not an original study. It examines previous studies and compiles their data and evidence to reach a conclusion that is statistically stronger than any in the single studies, mainly because of having more study subjects and more diversity among subjects. A good review usually concentrates on a theme, such as different theories, information on the progress of developing a new medical device, or how past developments influence new discoveries. A review might also ask that more resources be used to continue research in that specific field. Literature Searches Authors must ensure that the sources are legitimate research studies and so only use Google Scholar to find scientific articles for your review. Sources such as Popular Science and WebMD.com are not allowed to be used as sources for review articles. Your paper should include a minimum of 5 references. Accordingly, there is a need to map the literature and create an overview of the research. Methods: A scoping review approach was used to map literature on GS, including context and co-exposures (the GS exposome), and their associations with mental HWB. The review considers mental HWB definitions and measurements and how GS is characterized. Furthermore, the review aims to identify knowledge gaps and make recommendations for future research. Results: We identified a great diversity in study designs, definitions, outcome measures, consideration of the totality of the GS exposome, and reporting of results. Around 70% of the 263 reviewed studies reported a positive association between some aspect of GS and HWB. However, there is a limited amount of research using randomized controlled crossover trials (RCTs) and mixed methods and an abundance of qualitative subjective research. Conclusions: The discords between study designs, definitions, and the reporting of results makes it difficult to aggregate the evidence and identify any potential causal mechanisms. We propose key points to consider when defining and quantifying GS and make recommendations for reporting on research investigating GS and mental HWB. This review highlights a need for large well-designed RCTs that reliably measure the GS exposome in relation to mental HWB. Keywords: green space; mental health and wellbeing; exposome

[Solved] Health Inequality
Is Wealthier Healthier? African nations tend not to have lower health outcomes, experiencing epidemics of infectious and non-communicable diseases across the continent. There is substantial health inequality among and within many nations in Africa. Similar disparities in health also exist in Latin America. Cuba, Costa Rica, and Chile have health outcomes comparable to the United States, while Haitis health outcomes are comparable to the less healthy parts of Africa. A variety of arguments can be made for the reasons why there is great health inequity in these regions. Some relate to the different colonial histories since health is transmitted inter-generationally. Colonization, neoliberal globalization, including the free market, free trade, and the unrestricted flow of capital with little government influence, has resulted in large wealth inequalities. Some countries have cut their government spending on health programs, which has led to devastating health outcomes. For this Discussion, examine countries and their health problems. To prepare for this Discussion, review Week 10 and Week 11 Learning Resources. Select two countries with different per-capita income levels such that one could be classified as a high income nation and the other would not be classified in the same income category. Note: You may use The World Bank website in your Learning Resources to identify countries and their income levels. By Day 4 Post a brief summary comparing the two countries and their health problems. Also, compare how the economic level and income inequality in each country influenced other social determinants (social dynamics, the status of women, education, or violence/homicide, etc.) for each country. Then, explain the impact of the determinants on the health outcome in each country. Expand on your insights utilizing the Learning Resources. Use APA formatting for your Discussion and to cite your resources. By Day 6 Respond to your colleagues postings. Provide a substantive reply to your colleagues in one or more of the following ways and expand on your insights utilizing the Learning Resources: Validate an idea with your own experience. Offer polite disagreement or critique, supported with evidence. In addition, you may also respond as follows: Offer and support an opinion. Make a suggestion or comment that guides the discussion.
