The project aims to investigate achievement emotions at university. Specifically, we aim to validate a revised version of Pekrun et al.s (2011) Achievement Emotions Questionnaire assessing students enjoyment, hope, pride, relief, relaxation, anger, anxiety, shame, disappointment, hopelessness, and boredom during studying. We will also investigate how these emotions relate to students achievement-related control and value beliefs, motivation to learn, use of learning strategies, task-irrelevant thinking, personality, and demographic variables. The sample will consist of university students.
