Narcissism is a topic we discussed when learning about self-understanding. Research shows that narcissism has been increasing among America’s youth in recent years. Define narcissism, and then search any media source to look for evidence of narcissism. This media can include social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter or traditional media like TV, movies, or magazines.  The first step should be to make a chart to examine the following criteria within each source.  (a) What form of media are you examining?  (b) What indicators of narcissism do you see?  (c) Describe the source of the communication (demographics)?  (d) Describe the target of communication (demographics)?  (e) What about signs of caring for and empathy toward others?  You should examine a minimum of 8 sources to gather enough data.  I have a proposal thats been done attached.

There are countless organizations that exist to help veterans and veteran families. Because of the overwhelming number, it can be difficult to find legitimate organizations to help this community. This website lists military and veteran organizations that meet different needs a veteran or military family may incur. Find three that focus on PTSD and mental health care for veterans as part of the organization’s mission. 8 page paper, anything about memory and behavior. I was thinking about how does someone’s feelings (from happiness to depression) and trauma affects the brain and memory of a person.

You have a class of eight students, each with their strength in one of Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences (remember they are: linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist). This is the prompt:  What happens to the mind when the brain is damaged? Drawing from clinical case studies, discuss in 4-5 pages how physical changes to the body can affect the mind. What do these cases tell us about the mind-body problem? Are they consistent with the philosophical theories of mind we discussed earlier in class? The point I would like to make is that when the brain is damaged, the mind is damaged as well. (as in the two are inseparable)

Description of Course RequirementsResearch Paper: An 8-10-page paper is a requirement in this class. The goal is to help students develop the ability to communicate effectively.  A term paper in psychology is much the same as a term paper in an English class.
