[SOLVED] Rape
1. According to the U.S Department of Justice Archives, the new definition of rape is: “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim” (Sullivan, Rogers, & Moran, 2017). The Groth typology was developed almost forty years ago. This typology of rape is based on presumed motivations and aims that underline almost all rapes committed by adult males. Groth believed rape to be a “pseudo-sexual act”. He also believed that rape is a symptom of some psychological dysfunction, whether is temporary and transient or chronic and repetitive. Groth divided rape into three major categories. First, anger rape, second, power rape, and sadistic rape. He believed rape is always and foremost an aggressive act. The Massachusetts Treatment Center’s Classification Systems of rapists has many similarities to Groth’s typology. The MTC has originally identified four major categories of rapists. One, displaced aggression, two, compensatory, three, sexually aggressive, and four, impulsive rapists. Anger rapists are similar to displaced aggression rapists, sadistic rapists are similar to sexual aggressive rapists. The MTC typology is more extensive and more complex because is based on ongoing research. 2.The Groth Typology has developed around forty years ago. Groth stated that there is always other motivations, rather than simple sexual arousal, for rapists. He divides rape into three different categories, including anger rape, power rape, and sadistic rape. Anger rape is typically brutal, degrading, and extremely forceful. Anger rapists have some internal anger, usually towards a specific woman, and take it out on their victims. Power rape is when therapists are establishing dominance and control over their victim. The aggressiveness depends on how submissive the victim is. Victims of power rape are often kidnapped and experience multiple assaults. Sadistic rape involves the rapist experiencing arousal and pleasure of the victim’s torture and abuse. Massachusetts Treatment Center’s Classification Systems of rapists is far more complex and researched than Groth’s. It continues to be researched and updated, unlike The Groth Typology. MTC also identifies four types of rapist, rather than three. The types include displaced aggression, compensatory, sexual aggressive, and impulse rapists. Although the two typologies are different, their division of types of rape are similar. Anger rape is similar to displaced aggression, sadistic rape is similar to sexual aggressive rape, and power rape is similar to compensatory rape. The final MTC type of rape is the impulse rape, in which rapists usually have no other history of sexual assault and committed it spontaneously when the opportunity was there. This type has no similarities with any of Groth’s types. For more information on Rape read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape

[SOLVED] Helping Behavior
This chapter is so provocative. I’m sure it led you to think a lot about your life and your behavior- conformity, compliance, obedience, and helping behavior. 1. Pick one of these main topics (conformity, compliance, obedience, helping/bystander effect) and critically analyze it. For example, under what circumstances is it good or ethical? Under what circumstances is it bad or unethical? I’m looking for a careful analysis of the topic, as none of them are black or white subjects. 2. Weave in two terms (and bold them) accurately throughout your analysis. Make sure that the terms you weave in are aiding in your analysis of the topic and not taking you off topic. For example, you can analyze whether using compliance techniques is ethical and under what circumstances. You can weave in some techniques into your argument/analysis.For example, you can analyze whether conformity is good or bad in different circumstances. You can weave in normative social influence, informational social influence, public compliance without private acceptance, etc.For example, you can analyze whether obedience to authority is good or bad in different situations. You can weave in norms, foot-in-the-door-effect, etc.
[SOLVED] Symptomology
Describe one of the three categories covered in this unit, as well as each associated diagnosis. Be sure to discuss symptomology, etiology, epidemiology, and treatment protocols. Explain treatment barriers involved with treatment in this category. Include a brief explanation of your own reaction to the content of these categories. Ensure your response is original. Do not just recite material from the textbook. Your response must be a minimum of 300 words in length.
[SOLVED] Role Playing
Discussion 1 watch the brief Connect video “Role Playing: The Power of the Situation.” In your initial post, address the following:Describe your own reaction to this experiment and to watching the video. How did the mere playing of a role transform the participants into believing they were actually within that role?Do you believe the experiment was conducted in an ethical manner? Why or why not? NEXT In responding to the student posts, compare their reactions to the experiment and video to your own reaction. Offer any insight you have in relation to the experiment (and the ethics involved in it) and how your attitude may have been altered after reading their posts. Keep in mind that students within this class will have varying attitudes and beliefs from your own. It is okay to disagree, but it must be done in a respectful manner. Tedra postI’ve been learning about the Stanford Prison Experiment in several of my classes and I’ve even watched the 2015 movie dramatizing the experiment. Each time I hear about it, I’ve learned more about the way our minds work so I become less surprised. When I first started learning about his experiment I was absolutely shocked. I couldn’t understand how someone could treat the next person so horribly until this class. This experiment shows how situational influences can cause people to go against their morals because the roles or situation calls for the change. These role changes caused a “growing confusion between reality and illusion between role-playing and self-identity (Myers & Twenge, 2019). I don’t think this experiment was ethical at all. The prisoners were abused and had their rights taken away. They were not aware of how extreme this was going to get. I should have been shut down as soon as things got abusive. Linda postMy reaction to this experiment is confusion, the reason being is that this is an experiment and the participants knew this before they started playing the roles of prison guards and inmates. I believe their role playing and being in a place that resembled and looked like the prison made the participants transform into their roles, because the more their behaviors changed from being the participant and friends it made their attitudes change toward each other and more identify to the roles they were given. Even though the participants were following orders from the researchers, they began to be influenced by their environment, the psychologist mentioned that several ethical rules were broken due to psychological and physical abuse and they had to stop the experiment early. Discussion 3 As people often say, Cash is king! Cash flow is an important indicator of a companys financial health and a value driver. Effective cash flow management enables companies to have the most important resource on hand to meet daily needs while preventing financial stress and potential failure.Locate financial statements for a company of your choice and review the cash flow statement. Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:What insights does the cash flow statement provide about the companys performance, in relation to other financial statements? Cite your data source.
[SOLVED] Structural Modeling
Overview Refer to the functional model you verified and validated for ABS in the Week 4 assignment to complete this assignment.Based on your performance, ABS management was so satisfied that it wants you to develop both the structural and behavior models.
