Challenges- Dealing with Death

Death is a scary thing to most people.  It is the one common denominator that will impact us all.  This assignment evaluates the social and emotional components of death.  You will read the theory listed.  The videos are not required but will help quite a bit.  The American Dad scene is funny and the Sprinkles video really helps you to see the different stages and understand them.  I recommend watching the Sprinkles video. You will then be required to answer the questions. Your response does not need any references or citations. Your response will be a minimum of 3 paragraphs 5 sentences each. Once complete, you will review another students statement and critically analyze their argument. This response must be a minimum of 2 paragraphs 4 sentences each.   QUESTIONS: 1.    Please explain Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’s stages of mortality acceptance and don’t spare the details!   2.    How valid is this theory?   3.    Can this be generalized to everyone?   4.    Do you have to progress through each stage in order?   5.    Is it possible to experience some of the stages but not all of them?
