Children Language Acquisition

Assignment-Noam Chomsky argued that children are born with a Language Acquisition Device (LAD) that allows them to understand language and that there is a critical period for language development, age 2 years old to puberty.  The case of Genie tested this theory.  Write a 1-page paper discussing Genie’s language development and comment on whether or not Chomsky’s view of a critical period was supported.
