The idea of the paper is to determine how the Romans were able to build the Colosseum shading device that was hoisted over the stadium in the 70 AD. This shading device was called the Velarium, which was the Latin name given for the retractable, paneled, awning at the Roman Colosseum. Its purpose was to provide shade for the spectators who watched the gladiatorial games in the blistering sun and heat of Ancient Rome. So the direction of the paper must be an original research idea and solve a question about the construction and innovation of the Colosseum shading design which is called the Velarium. Please conduct rigorous research from a variety of sources such as internet, books etc. Footnotes: Whole paper must contain a minimum of 3 accurate footnotes from a physical book with the exact page number.
