Create an informational brochure or PowerPoint about ONE of the following four topics. You do NOT have to create a brochure or PowerPoint for each topic, just select the one you find most interesting. The intended audience is community members of Alamance County. Think about items you would include if you were presenting this information at the public library or providing pamphlets to a local pediatrician office. The brochure or PowerPoint is intended to be consumed briefly – do not create a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation or a brochure that takes 30 minutes to read. Aim for a brochure or PowerPoint that takes about 5 – 10 minutes to present or read (at most). Microsoft Word has templates for brochures. If you select “new” and search for “brochure” or “pamphlet,” available templates will be listed. PowerPoint or Presi is acceptable for PowerPoints. You can use pictures from Google images, but please use your OWN wording. Also, please address each question/prompt/item listed in the topic you select. If the prompt asks for definitions and examples, you need to include both a definition and concrete, real world example. Your brochure or PowerPoint should include: 1). Information regarding each question/item/prompt listed within the topic you chose 2). Definitions and concrete, real world examples 3). Citations in APA format 4). A minimum of 5 informational panes/slides with content in addition to a title pane/slide (you include more slides if desired) 5). At least 1 picturemunity members in an engaging, fun way.
