Crime Strategy

You are to design a prevention strategy for the city of Meridian (or your hometown), or particular area of this city. You have free range on choosing a crime prevention strategy. You can focus on a primary, secondary, or a tertiary method of crime prevention. Refer to pages 35-38 in your textbook for a refresher on the 3 crime prevention techniques. You should write a 4 page paper outlining the details of your crime prevention strategy to be submitted to the instructor. In addition, you will create a PowerPoint about your particular strategy and post it to the “Project Presentations” discussion board in Canvas. You should approach this as if you were making a presentation to the city council in order to gain support and funding for your project. The paper and presentation are due by midnight on August 3rd, and you will need to comment on your classmates’ projects by midnight on August 4th.
