Maxfield & Babbie, Chapters 4 & 7 ·  Pearson, Chapter 2 ·  Hartley, Chapter 2     After you read the assigned chapters, what types of research methods (various types of survey methods and experimental ones, as well as several qualitative methods) are more popular or suitable in criminological research?  Please explain your answers. To adopt an appropriate research design, what are conditions/situations that should be considered first?
