How can these lessons help teacher decolonize the classroom? What new knowledge did you learn by analyzing STI curriculum unit lesson activities? How did this assignment impact your own biases and understandings about Indigenous education? How does this assignment help develop, if at all, a professional practice of cultural humility? Consider your own position (e.g., teacher, future administrator, parent, college/university employee, etc.) when choosing your audience. Write a persuasive letter directed to a stakeholder in your local district or institution. Your letter will aim to briefly educate the reader about the STI resources available and to recommend that this curriculum be implemented. Your letter will draw on information available in the STI resources and include a convincing argument as to the importance of this curriculum. You may use additional resources or include links in your letter. OR Create an informative and detailed visual directed to a stakeholder (e.g., brochure, poster, detailed infographic). Your aim should be to inform and persuade your audience of the importance of the STI curriculum. Sufficient detail should be included to be persuasive.
