[SOLVED] Current Effect of Life

Term Paper Instructions: Use what you learned from the class material to explain how you became the person you are today. Explain how past events in your life have shaped you into the person you are today through the lens of the textbook. Pick three events in your life and three theories and demonstrate your understanding of the material to say how these have affected you. Only include what you see as important in your life or events that have had a profound effect on you. This is NOT an autobiography. The structure of the paper is flexible, but the format should include some version of this: Event => Theory => Current Effect of Life When I was 12 I moved to a new school and didn’t make very many friends. This negatively affected my self concept and self esteem, as Jacobson and Rosenthal researched (page 36) this became a self-fulfilling prophecy. It has taken me a long time to have a positive self concept as a social person and make new friends. My parents fought a lot in front of me when I was a child. I never saw any assertive styles of conflict resolution so when I get upset I respond aggressive as Green described on page 399. I still have a temper and it takes me a while to cool off when I’m upset. This paper is completely private. Your classmates won’t read it and no information will be shared. If there is anything concerning, I will contact you directly for follow up. Papers need to be a minimum of five pages, double-spaced, size 12 Times New Roman. Spelling and grammar will count, as will organization and content. The grading will be based equally on background information, how this has affected who you are now and on editing and grammar.
