Be sure to represent all aspects of the topic (both positive and negative and from ALL perspectives – not just your own). Good academic writing explores all perspectives and provides data to support those perspectives rather than personal opinion. You likely will have a strong opinion of your own regarding both of the above mentioned topics, and I hope you do! However, you will undoubtedly be faced with a patient or other individual in your future healthcare careers that holds the exact opposite opinion of yours. It’s tough, but you’ll still need to provide them quality patient care. Think about those aspects as you conduct your research.

Your submission should be double spaced, no title page. See other formatting parameters listed in the syllabus as those will apply as well. A minimum of 2 full pages is required (no partial credit given if you shorten the submission; shortened submissions will receive a zero). Make sure you have a bibliography with proper citations. The bibliography does NOT count in the 2 page requirement.

You must locate at least 5 peer reviewed sources or government websites that correlate with the case study. Use APA format. Submissions not using proper APA citations will be given a zero and may be referred for further disciplinary action due to plagiarism as discussed in the Student Code of Conduct.
