1. Discuss the benefits of SIM to enhance classroom and clinical experiences in nursing education. Be prepared to discuss the future trends in SIM. 2. Discuss the learning methods drill and practice, tutorial, and game. Provide an example of each learning method related to nursing/patient care. Be prepared to explain the connection of each example to Bloom’s Taxonomy of Nursing. 3. Research emerging trends for e-learning. Use the Internet and online library. Create a bullet list of “talking points” for at least 3 emerging trends. 4. Compare different modes of computerized testing. 5. Describe distance learning along with the advantages and disadvantages. Be prepared to describe your experience with distance learning (on-line) and what could be improved.
