We will continue our weekly effort on writing essays, only this one will be creating a persuasive position essay. You will write a three-page (750 word) research essay weighted by at least four scholarly sources on a controversial topic that calls for the reader to take action.

Instructions: Review Hacker & Sommers section R as you set about gathering your four scholarly resources. See the Persuasive Position Essay Assignment for full instructions. Craft an outline to aid in logical and convincing argumentative writing. Review Hacker & Sommers A4 as you build the introduction, body, and conclusion of your paper, compelling your readers through your knowledgeable content, sound logic, and emotional connection to agree with your position and resolve to take action to help bring change.

Adhere to APA requirements in terms of manuscript set-up and documentation of your four required scholarly sources. Review and polish your work as per the “revise” section on p.113 of hacker & Sommers A4-h. You are required to follow the guidelines below when submitting your essay: Type in Microsoft Word, double-space, 12 pt. font size, Times New Roman font type Three (3) pages (750 words); length does not include title page and reference page Must be in APA manuscript format with all research cited as per APA documentation style
