Evidence from Country

You must choose a low or middle income country, NOT a high income country.  See  http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-and-lending-groups#High_income (Links to an external site.).  (Links to an external site.)  to check and see if your country is high income.   You must choose a country with a population of greater than five million.  You may not choose a country in which you have lived.  You may not choose a country in which war, political instability, or other political factors make the economic situation highly atypical (your instructor will make the judgement about which countries to exclude for this reason).   Once you have received approval from your instructor to work on a country, you are to produce a one-page summary of per capita GNI of the country and two other development indicators. To find data on SDGs see this source  (Links to an external site.) .   Your summary should include:  1. graphs of GNI per capita and the two indicators you have chosen.  Each graph should be original (make it yourself from downloaded data, do not copy and paste a graph made elsewhere or use a graph making tool on a web site), be professionally presented, be clearly labeled, and properly cited.  2.  a short narrative making an argument as to whether, given the evidence you have presented, GNI per capita seems like a good indicator of well-being (as defined by your two indicators).
