Final Paper guidelines  The goal of this paper is to demonstrate the ability to gather information about a real conflict within an organization and to interpret that information using theory in order to arrive at a diagnosis and plan for intervention. The final draft will have five parts, which are outlined below.  1. Chose a case study. Be sure that the case history is comprehensive and clearly explained and includes sufficient information to allow for meaningful analysis.  2. Diagnosis of the conflict using models from the course readings as well as your own research. Include a thorough analysis of the parties involved, their interests, and any external factors which are important to your understanding and diagnosis of the conflict. Discuss organizational change, if present, and cultural factors, if relevant. Be sure that your diagnosis is supported by the details of the case history and incorporates references to the literature.  3. Your intervention strategy. How will you work with the parties? What challenges do you anticipate? Include a discussion of the setting (workplace, school) and how that may influence your intervention. Be sure that your strategy is realistic and is comprehensive in its consideration of relevant factors such as organizational change, ethical concerns, and cultural diversity.  4. Confidentiality: Explain the importance of confidentiality in this process. Secure each party’s agreement to maintain the confidentiality of the mediation.  5. Bibliography in APA format Your paper should be 14 pages not including the title page and works cited and include at least eight scholarly resources in addition to the course material. 6.
