Introduction to Sociology

Thesis – Develop a thesis – is a statement of about 2 lines that takes a position, it is definitive.  It serves to ground  and remind the writer of the purpose for the paper. Writing a thesis statement 4. Body – In the body of the paper you will do an analysis (as it pertains to your thesis) that utilizes sociological theory/perspectives and illustrates how your assumptions about society and culture have been challenged. You will reflect on your perception of who you are in the world and your relationship to it, has it changed or shifted? If so, how? If not, how? 5. Conclusion – In the conclusion, you will summarize your thoughts and discuss turning points, opportunities and challenges for oneself and/or community. ****Please use the subject of Stem cell research. It applies to my life because my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called ATRX in which stem cells provide hope to to improve my son’s quality of life. My perception of myself has changed as I now view my self as an advocate for special needs and people with disabilities. Please include Strong thesis statements.***
