The paper is a Historiography. Here are the instructions: Focus on a singular news event. Find at one PRIMARY source or live coverage of the actual event and four SECONDARY sources written in various time periods, with at least one that comes to a different conclusion or details about the same event. You can use newspapers, documentaries, reporters’ accounts, documents and opinion essays. **Make sure that you have secondary sources that were written in the 1970s and beyond. Explain why they are different. In your answer, analyze the sources and look at the time frame in which they were written. How do they answer the question that you are researching? Introduction: Write a brief introduction of the news event that you are reviewing. Deconstruct/Analyze: For each source, consider the historical context and the writer’s point of view or perspective, any new ideas or interpretation of the event? Themes? Compare the differences and similarities between the sources? Change Over Time: How did the accounts of this event change over time? How does current news give new meaning to this historic event? Your Interpretation: After reading these sources, what is your answer to the question of the news event?( I will be doing this on my own)
