Non Fiction Draft

This draft should be based on something that you actually experienced. However, you can use all the creative elements we’ve mentioned in order to make sure the dramatic arc is present and that the characters are clear. Here are some further guidelines: please double-space make sure your document is in .doc or .docx format for short fiction, it is best have only 1-3 characters it is best to have a story that takes place over a very short time, as you don’t have much space Your first draft will earn all points possible (10), if you turn it in on time. However, the elements I’ll be looking at are: dramatic arc sensory imagery use of at least one literary device characterization (at this point, I just need to see that each character is clear) grammar (proof that you attempted to proofread your work)
