Organizational Structures in Managing Projects

Identify and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of traditional (classical ) organizational structures in managing projects.  Bring one of your personal experience as an example to indicate how organizational structure affects the leading the project.    PROFESSOR’S GUIDANCE FOR THIS WEEK’S LE: An organizational structure dictates who makes ultimate project decisions, how the communication of project goals and tasks will be, and how the team collaborates. Whether a firm prefers to execute projects within the traditional functional organization or through matrix arrangement will define the project management differently.
