Program Evaluation

Assignment I Introduction/Background of the Agency and Program Description (3 – 4 pages) is the first section and should contain a discussion of the magnitude, severity and scope of the problem.  Students should address the significance of the problem and the rationale for examining the specific issue. In this section you should clearly state the problem, the agency goals and objectives in relation to the problem and a description of those directly impacted by the agency.   In order to support your case that the program is worthy of an evaluation study, statistics that relate to the severity of the problem must be used.  These statistics should be obtained from governmental agencies, newspaper or magazine articles and journal articles.  Please cite appropriately!!  I.         Abstract    II.         Table of Contents – DO NOT ADD   III.         Introduction and Background of the Agency (2 – 3 pages) – 40 points
