This activity addresses course outcomes 1, 2, 4. Upon completion of this activity, you will be able to:
CO1: Discuss the various definitions and typologies of terrorism.
CO2: Explain the social organization of terrorist groups, including recruitment, socialization and radicalization.
CO4: Differentiate between nationalistic/ethnic, nationalistic/endemic, separatist, ideological and religious terrorist movements.
Your paper will consist of an examination of a contemporary or historically-significant group or movement that is known to have engaged in international terrorism.

Be sure to address the following in an outline of major headings which will define the sections of your eventual paper:

Strategy, Tactics, Major Actions
Your paper must be at least 1,250 words (approximately 5–7-pages) in length, double-spaced, with one-inch margins. It will employ APA formatting, citations, and references. The title and reference pages do not count toward the 5-7 page required length. It must incorporate at least 7-9 research sources, excluding the textbook, Wikipedia, and encyclopedias.

Compose your work in a .doc or .docx file type using a word processor (such as Microsoft Word, etc.) and save it frequently to your computer.
