The first theory we will discuss is the Need Theory according to Nightingale of modern nursing. The need theory brought in a revolution in American health which saw nursing get recognized as a professional career to helping doctors in medical practices. Martha continues to say that nursing should seek to promote interactions that are symphonic between persons and environment aimed at fostering human being integrity and coherence. As I review these theories, I strongly advocate for the Transcultural Care Theory are the best. As a professional nurse, it is essential to recognize the diverse culture of nurses, differing views of health care nursing, occurrences of life, and death during the workplace (Ray, 2016). Understanding and appreciating these aspects of framework helps a nurse profession provide the most effective and respective help care to patients. Just like how nursing theory embraces many differing viewpoints, nurses need to embrace all of each theory.
