Assignment: School Health Center
In education, the stakeholder is anyone who is invested in the welfare and success of the school, and students (School Health Center, 2017). The internal stakeholders such as the school board, teachers, employees, and parent-teacher organizations which are directly involved in leading and managing the organization (School Health Centers, 2017). The external stakeholders or customers are the students and families, and could even be grouped into city, and county government, civic clubs, and the chamber of commerce (AHRQ, 2008).
The support of these stakeholders can be extremely important for active involvement to support critical issues with strategies targeted to support any project funding needed for my EBP project, in order to promote the health of our students (School Health Centers, 2017). In order to secure support from stakeholders it is important to provide the stakeholders with your data, make them productive partners, align data to show the benefits of interventions not only for the health of the student, but also academic achievements (School Health Centers, 2017). Efforts should be collaborative and genuine, with a clear, transparent, accurate set of information on results (AHRQ, 2008). In making stakeholders a productive partner, it gives them a sense of ownership over also promoting the health of the students, and families served daily in our school districts.
