Re: Module 1 DQ 2
Good morning class and professor
This is a good article to read if you want to know how communication can lead to positive outcomes for any business. Having a business plan for any company starts with an idea then you build on that idea to make your mission statement on how your company will work and help the community. To effectively execute that plan you need a good team to reach out to the surrounding community and beyond and let them know how the company will help them. Effective communication is important from top to bottom because it solves issues and allows the spread of ideas that can lead to positive views/outcomes. I don’t believe there is any bad idea each person has their own opinion on any specific topic and that should be considered when making a decision that can affect them and the company in the long run. As the article states change and communication starts at the top where the C.E.O is that person is responsible for many staffers jobs and the overall output of the company in that they are the face of the company. Even though the workers ar eth ebackbone of the company if something goes wrong the first person people will come to is the president of the company. Positive thinking should always be on the mind of workers and management because a company cannot survive if negative thinking/vibes enter into the equation. It is important that all Americans receive affordable health care because not all people are rich and can afford the high end medications/doctors. WE must treat each other as equals because we are all God’s children and no one person should be treated as second class citizens. HCA 615 Topic 1: Internal and External Stakeholder Communication

“In an organization, communication flows in 5 main directions-
Downward
Upward
Lateral
Diagonal
External
Providing feedback on employees performance
Giving job instructions
Providing a complete understanding of the employees job as well as to communicate them how their job is related to other jobs in the organization.
Communicating the organizations mission and vision to the employees.
Highlighting the areas of attention.
Organizational publications, circulars, letter to employees, group meetings etc are all examples of downward communication. In order to have effective and error-free downward communication, managers must:
Specify communication objective
Ensure that the message is accurate, specific and unambiguous.”Downward Flow of Communication:Communication that flows from a higher level in an organization to a lower level is a downward communication. In other words, communication from superiors to subordinates in a chain of command is a downward communication. This communication flow is used by the managers to transmit work-related information to the employees at lower levels. Employees require this information for performing their jobs and for meeting the expectations of their managers. Downward communication is used by the managers for the following purposes –
Utilize the best communication technique to convey the message to the receiver in right form.” HCA 615 Topic 1: Internal and External Stakeholder Communication
