Assignment: System Design Specification for Block Chain Technology in A Hospital Report ORDER NOW FOR CUSTOMIZED AND ORIGINAL ESSAY PAPERS ON Assignment: System Design Specification for Block Chain Technology in A Hospital Report Assignment Content Assignment: System Design Specification for Block Chain Technology in A Hospital ReportYour Week 3 Assignment has two required parts: (1) to make a context diagram, and (2) to create and complete the System Design Specification document for your project. Part 1 (25 points possible): Use a tool to make a context diagram, there are tools such as Lucidchart and others in the market for making a diagram. Develop a Context Diagram for the case system using Lucidchart or another to create the context diagram. Criteria: Full credit for use of the appropriate shapes, with appropriate?labeling?on the shapes and the lines. Take a screenshot of your diagram, and paste it into a Word document. Part 2 (25 points possible): Create your project’s System Design Specification document. You may conduct research to find a template, or use a blank Word document. Criteria: Complete the System Design Specification document for your project. Include: title page, project name, table of contents, references, and detail information about each component listed in your table of contents. Also include the Context Diagram form Part 1 at the end of your System Design Specification document. —————————————————————————————————————————————————- Attaching previous assignments for reference. The process of monitoring data such shared has not been easy as several breach cases are recorded since there is no efficient system that monitors this process (Agbo et al., 2019). With Blockchain’s introduction in other industrial sectors, privacy and confidentiality in data collection, storage, processing, and transmission have been safe and efficient. Billing, for instance, the use of bitcoin as a transactional currency, has been done over the years through the internet without having a third-party involvement. From this trust, when incorporated in the health care sector, the Blockchain would operate without requiring a trusted middleman to complete data transfer (Yoon, 2019). With blockchain technology, patients have an authoritative control of when their data is shared, whom they are shared with, the purpose of sharing, and the duration of data access. Therefore, Blockchain ensures that unauthorized persons do not reach the patient’s data at any time within the hospital systems. The information’s sharing and access are limited to specific professionals and institutions and accented to by the patient. It is clear that Blockchain, when incorporated in the healthcare system to manage patient’s critical data, will eliminate the breach that comes about by the inclusion of a third party (Vazirani et al., 2019). Problem statement Several modes of valuable patient data transmission have proven inefficient, with most cases being breach and leakage of such information to the wrong hands. In some instances, health institutions may need to share information and data to offer them better medical care. Medical and research institutions may share data from a patient to facilitate a research activity on a similar note. By transferring data from one medical institution to the next, patients’ data is bound to face breach since the platform of sharing may not be safe. On the other hand, with its developed system, Blockchain allows for the transmission of such data with the patient’s permission without a leak to unwanted persons (Yoon, 2019). By maintaining correct data safely, better care is guaranteed to the patient since their information remains unaltered. Research objectives To determine the safety of patient data transmission through blockchain technology. To assess the compatibility of blockchain technology with hospital data management systems. To determine the flaws in other modes of patient data transmission. Data collectionThe study population required for the research will require up to 100 patients from different healthcare facilities. Participants will include patients receiving medical care in a given facility and who have accented to a transfer of their critical data to another facility. Health care providers too would be involved in the research, and it is they who would be managing and handling the patients’ data. The data collection method will entail sample surveys from the patients and professionals from institutions using blockchain technology keep and manage patient data. However, the identity of the participants will not be revealed to ensure adherence to the ethical guidelines. Bias will be controlled by a control system based on a care facility that has not adopted the blockchain technology. Additionally, the safe storage of the collected data will be ensured to prevent violation of the patients’ anonymity. Data analysisThe collected data will be analyzed by regression analysis in excel or SPSS to determine the relationship between the variables. The obtained results will indicate the effectiveness of using blockchain technology to prevent cyber attach in the healthcare industry. ConclusionSummary of the obtained results and recommendations that healthcare organizations should adopt. The summary will be obtained from the outcome of data analysis.
