Essays: From the list of essay questions posted on the class site you will select four (4) to answer during the semester. See the schedule for when these essays are due. The essay is due on the due date however you will have one day past the due date to post. Any post made on the additional day will have a deduction of 10 points made. Each essay must: The question must be included as either the subject line of your post. The question will not be included in your word count. Each post must contain at least 600 words in the answer to the question. The 600 words does not include the question or works cited list. The score for any essay that is less than 600 words will be prorated and additional deductions for writing errors will be made from that prorated score.  Note: Please submit as a Word document or a rtf document. Do not submit pdf’s.  Essays can be posted at any time prior to the due date.  Note: All quotes must be documented. The Chicago Style (Turabian) is the correct format for art papers. Examples of proper footnotes and works cited page done in the Chicago Style are readily found online by searching for “Chicago Style citation.” Failing to document quotes is plagiarism.  Wordiness will be deleted from your word count.
