The Negative Effects of Technology

The Assignment:   Compose an essay that addresses the following: In Unit 1, Marty Whiddon, Gary Turk, and Angela Daly all explore the argument about the negative effects of technology. For this first writing assignment, think about the impact technology has had on society. Has technology been more of a positive or negative influence in society? Write a short essay explaining how technology has impacted society (You may choose to present both sides if you like). Use a third person perspective only (No I or You voice)   Compose a 4 paragraph essay. Your essay will be graded on: 1. Proper MLA (header, heading, title) 2. Proper grammar and mechanics 3. Four indented paragraphs 4. Upload in the Assignment folder as a .docx file.   Heading: In the upper left hand corner, type your name, my name, the course, and the date.   Title: Centered- under your heading (do not italicize, bold or underline).   Page Numbering:  Your last name and page number in the upper right hand corner of each page (change to 12 point font)   Indenting: Indent all paragraphs (press tab once); do not put extra spaces between paragraphs.
