Theology of Hymns

Select 2-3 Christian hymns or choruses or other Christian music that in some way addresses the hope Christians have in the midst of sorrow or suffering. Analyze the theology of these songs: How well do they each portray a Biblical view of suffering? How do they compare/contrast with our readings on the sovereignty and/or suffering of God? What kind of hope does each song convey? Be sure to include the lyrics to the song at the end of your paper (this will not count toward total pages of your paper)
