Now let’s look at some essays written by other students, modeled on “Two Ways of Seeing a River”. The students were asked to write about a subject similar to Clemens’ piece, a place they had been at two different points in time/their lives and how their view of the place had changed. Read each of the following essays. None of these essays is perfect.
