Please spend some time watching the TED Talks video as Chip Conley talks about “Gross National Happiness” – an idea and principle used by the Butanese Government, based on Maslow’s hierarchy. What are your thoughts of the idea of Gross National Happiness? Is this something that we, as a Western society, can accomplish and achieve? Finally, consider about how you can use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs in your own life. Make a list of your own goals and compare these goals with the hierarchy.
