Write an argumentative essay (4-5 pages) on the topic you have worked on. Things to keep in mind: Please make sure you have a claim for the paper (which, as already mentioned, should NOT be your general topic but a narrowed-down version that supports it). Ensure that you comply with the prescribed essay outline provided in class. You would need to refer to the “submission guidelines” in your syllabus in order to format the paper. Your paper should have a title. Avoid informal language and colloquialisms. Show awareness of the readership/audience. Example: without animals for research, some research results cannot be tested in vivo, let alone put into use. Animals used in experimental research can quickly get experimental results and improve the experiment. 2. Improve human health. The use of animals in drug research can help people fight diseases and prolong their lives. Secondly, the results of animal experiments: conditioned reflex experiment is that Russian biologists have revealed the nature of some learning behaviors by studying the various ways dogs produce saliva. Finally, different animals are used for different studies. For example, the skin of rabbits and guinea pigs is sensitive to stimulation, which is similar to that of human. Rabbit skin is often used to study the local effects of poisons on skin; rabbit ears can be used to study experimental mustard gas skin damage and frostbite and scald; cosmetics are especially suitable for the study of skin inside the ear. Nevertheless, there are many people who are against the use of animals in experiments for humanitarian reasons. But intellectually speaking, when the benefits to human beings are greater than the harm to animals, it makes sense for animals to use in experiments.
