Remember the goal of this class was once you learned what caused crime we were to determine how to deal with the lawbreakers and develop programs and institutions to deal with them. Which type of facility is the most effective for rehabilitation? 4. Is there any valid use  for solitary confinement? 5. What should we do with prisoners who are mentally disturbed? 6. What criteria would you use to release inmates before their sentences are completed (parole)? 7. What criteria would you use to determine that a pedophile or rapist has been reformed in prison? 8. How would you reform the corrections system in the United States if you were in that position?
