Explores a topic that is related to women’s social, economic, and political status in our society. Identifies and discusses the importance and significance of the topic. Has a clear and specific focus (e.g. the issue as a social problem, theory that explains the problem, policy responses, effectiveness of policy responses, guidelines for practice, etc.). Contains a systematic review of literature. Discusses policy and practice implications. The table below shows how the content of the paper will be evaluated and the number of points that will be deducted for fair, poor, or missing treatment of the required content. Evaluation of Content Requirements Evaluation Characteristics Points Deducted Good Required items are discussed thoroughly and systematically while demonstrating diligent effort or strong critical analytical skills to examine the topic. 0 Fair Required items are discussed adequately but the performance clearly can be improved with more effort and analysis. 1 Poor Required items are mentioned superficially or randomly and demonstrate very limited (or lack of) effort or critical analytical skills. 2 Missing Required items are not addressed at all or are mentioned only briefly without further elaboration. 3 Structure Requirements Your paper should also adhere to the following requirements of structure: Is at least 3000–3750 words long (12–15 pages, assuming 250 words per page). Uses subheadings to organize the discussion. Has logical Introduction and Conclusion sections. Cites all sources (scholarly publications preferred) used in the work. Is coherent, logical, and free of typographical errors. Follows APA writing style. For each structure requirement that is not fulfilled, one (1) point will be deducted from the final score of the paper.
