For this assessment, you will write an essay (4-5 pages) in which you will explore and critically analyze a topic of your choice relevant to the class. You will demonstrate understanding of a contemporary issue related to human communication. The assessment will require you to articulate diverse perspectives and the appropriateness of using certain communication theories or practices to address or analyze the contemporary issue topic. You will consider the role of diverse identities, relationships, and realities affected by and/or constructed within human communication related to a contemporary social issue. This assessment is a three-part assessment, which means that two other assessments (Topic Paper and Annotated Bibliography) are part of this essay. You will demonstrate adherence to a recognized writing format (e.g., APA 6th edition) to ensure ethical presentation of ideas.

Explain how nursing practice has changed over time and how this evolution has changed the scope of practice and the approach to treating the individual. Compare and contrast the differentiated practice competencies between an associate and baccalaureate education in nursing. Explain how scope of practice changes between an associate and baccalaureate nurse. Identify a patient care situation and describe how nursing care, or approaches to decision?making, differ between the BSN?prepared nurse and the ADN nurse. Discuss the significance of applying evidence?based practice to nursing care and explain how the academic preparation of the RN?BSN nurse supports its application. Discuss how nurses today communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and how this supports safer and more effective patient outcomes. Information provided by special senses can all be consciously perceived by the cerebrum, and some can also influence autonomic function. You are a financial advisor and a longtime client comes into your office.
